Tradition Boatworks 49'

The TRADITION 49 is the culmination of leading edge concept design, layout, and construction, guaranteed to raise the expectations of what will come to be expected in the future.

Many years of experience out on the water and building and refitting boats all over the world ensure a vessel built to exceed the expectations. Designed in association with Oceanic Yacht Design, for the best possible performance, ride and fuel efficiency possible.

A boat designed and built for professional and recreational crews alike to maximize their fishing potential. With an interior that is roomy, comfortable, inviting, yet also offering privacy.

The TRADITON 49 is built to Queensland USL 2B survey requirements with all ship systems chosen based on years of practical knowledge and experience. Where average years involve over 10 000 nm at sea with redundancy incorporated where required for ease of use and peace of mind when down time is not an option!!

As a charter boat owner and captain of the renowned TRADITION, the bar was set very high for the design of all future TRADITION 49’s. All of the exceptional characteristics of the 49 footer have been replicated and evolved into the uncompromising fishing ability of the new 49’ vessels. We have added some beam to the new designs from the original Tradition, to give more interior volume and load carrying ability.The Tradition 49 can spin 360 degrees in 17 seconds, making it one of the fastest spinning boats on the planet!!

The finest engineering and construction will ensure years of service and value, especially when it comes to resale.

The TRADITION 49 comes as a complete package with Cummins QSM11’s from $1.40 million plus electronics of your choosing (+ GST where applicable) making it one of the best value custom or production boats on the market. Construction openings are available now with a completion time of around 15 months

Construction

- Epoxy Resin on the hull and house with DIAB foam

- 2 pack paint on all finish surfaces – no gelcoat

- 2 pack paint in all bilges, machinery spaces and lazarette

- Built to USL 2B survey requirements

- Integral fuel and water tanks as structural members of the vessel

- Accoustic , thermal and fire insulation used on the engine room insulation to reduce interior and accommodation space noise.

- Integral stringers and bulkheads throughout.



Mechanical

- Airconditioning – reverse cycle heat for controlled interior environments with individual controls for salon and staterooms. With ducting to heads

- 240V pressurized fresh water system with exterior outlets – bow, cockpit, bridge and tower.

- USL survey crash pumps (engine driven and manual) as well as 24 V in all bilges connected to manual and automatic float switches with monitoring lights on the bridge.

- Engine room fans with water separator for the cleanest salt free environment for the machinery spaces as required to exceed engine manufacturers requirements

- Individual sea strainers for engines and gensets

- USL survey fire suppression system

- Fresh water supply in the engine room for ease of cleaning and maintenance

- Fuel supply, shutoffs and plumbing to USL survey requirements

- Oil change system for mains, gears, and gensets

- Hynautic hydraulic steering
